Join us at 462 Halsey Community Farm for a day of arts, crafts, and plants during NYC Parks GreenThumb seventh annual Open Garden event. Take a tour of your green community space and enjoy the various creative projects offered by our dedicated members.

After completing two volunteer shifts, community members will learn about the pathway of engagement from volunteer to garden member

During these sessions we’ll share information about opportunities to volunteer the garden, including compost, watering the communal beds, special building projects, working with plants, harvesting, and more.

A volunteer orientation and completion of at least 2 volunteer shifts is mandatory for all new prospective garden members.
